THE QUANTUM CUISINE

Dr. Emy Narbone, mathematician and naturopath, will be, together with me, the speaker in this course.

But what is the “quantum cuisine”?

To use Einstein’s words, it’s the different that change the world! Emy and I brainstormed while sipping a Kukicha tea we were dominated by intuition, creativity and we gave birth to the “quantum kitchen” and given that thought and intuition ennoble the human mind, the goal of this course is to enhance the joy of cooking, raising the mind.

Obviously, imagining a food does not materialize it as with a three-dimensional printer! But the connections between the act of preparing food and the prepared food are more than you think.

Perhaps, first, it would be better to try to understand what quantum physics is but the subject is so complex that I leave the study to you. I can only say, in extreme synthesis, that it is the physical theory that describes the behavior of matter, of radiation and of all their interactions seen both as wave phenomena and as particle phenomena (wave-particle duality).

Modern physics has revealed that matter and energy are inextricably linked. E=mc2 indicates that matter can be transformed into energy and vice versa.

Energy is matter and matter is energy.

Not only! The void, the absence of matter, on microscopic scales teems with an unsuspected activity in which particles and antiparticles give life to a continuous dance in a process of annihilation / regeneration going to transform matter into energy and again energy into matter .

Art has often questioned the concept of matter and energy by providing its own explanation and vision as in many works by Lucio Fontana but never, again, the art of culinary creation.

The total mass of matter could be packed into a fist: everything else is energy. Matter and energy seem to us to be well-established concepts of our reality but in truth our Universe is made up only minimally of matter and energy in the form we have known up to now: it is currently estimated that 95% of the Universe is made up from a different form of matter and energy, Dark Matter and Dark Energy.

So … why not unleash creativity and intuition and give free rein to creation?

So we return to the quantum kitchen.
In a dish we put ingredients of various origins, spices and herbs, seasonings.
We also put our state of mind on a plate.
In a dish we also put the place where we cook.
In a dish we also put fires and pots where we cook.
We also put our thoughts on a plate.
In a dish we put … and much more …
Much and more goes to influence the foods.

What is the “service” of cooking?
It is doing something for others, making people gather around a table and making food helping them in a pleasant and constructive conversation. This happens in the kitchens of public places, such as in restaurants, canteens, hospitals where we must pay attention to contaminations – even those that come from our negative vibrations -, to diseases, to allergies; where you have to be careful, even more so, to cook in a balanced way without using too much salt, sugar or spices. It happens in homes, where family and friends have to find harmony at the table. “Service”, referring to cooking, does not mean “subordination, being under someone’s orders”, but being able to favor others. The act of cooking includes the noblest act: that of uniting. This is its service.

At Gigliocooking we have been trying…. since always! we have always taught that cooking is not competition, that food, being a priority for survival, is the most important thing in the world. The cuisine embodies all knowledge, the arts, philosophy, history, culture, well-being, beauty, health.
A new course is planned for the autumn, in collaboration with mathematician and naturopathic doctor Emy Narbone, who will guide us in this new, unique experience.

The Program:

  • First lesson: Introduction by Dr. Emy Narbone on the meaning of quantum cooking and notions of quantum physics. Objectives and achievable results. Preparation for the awareness of the individual to cook.. Cooking: cereals.
  • Second lesson: Cooking: Vegetables: Vegetables, Herbs, Spices.
  • Third lesson: Cooking: Fish
  • Fourth Lesson: Meat and Poultry
  • Fifth lesson: Master Classroom: conclusion with Emy Narbone; cooking: a balanced menu

The program will take place with a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 12.

The calendar will be published soon.
