The last day is always exciting and many things happen: exchanges of gifts, dedications in the book of signatures, delivery of diplomas, greetings, promises to meet again because the experience was wonderful.
We met people from other countries, we met them in front of the stove and also at the table. We exchanged information and revealed ourselves in our cultures of origin.
We had a few laughs and shed a few tears.

Victoria from Norway and Ana from Colombia are roommates here in Florence. Momentarily joined. They have had buffers, vaccines and quarantines and are having an Italian adventure that they will remember for a lifetime. At GiglioCooking they worked with the mask, in compliance with the rules and out of respect for the others (also all “in good standing”).
They finished on Tuesday, two days earlier than the others. They left school with a big smile and a desire to return.

In this photo are Heiko and Florine from Holland, Margit and Katalin from Hungary. Philine did not come, but we hope to see her again here.
Here grouped for the final photo, a little happy, a little sorry, after having written beautiful dedications on the register of signatures.
These are the “unscheduled” of the day:

Porcupines made with the remaining pizza dough …

Buffalo salami and paprika from Hungary.
Each time, each lesson, with each person, I enrich myself a little: each brings knowledge Mine is a beautiful job.
