I can pride myself on being a great friend of hers.
Isabella Fazzo is an artist with a predilection for ceramics, its forms, its composition. She makes her own blends. She then she overlaps her colors with her peculiar way.

Here Isabella is in her kitchen, with the chandelier with lighted candles above the table.
Access to his house is green. The life in flowers is another of her passions.
She is a tireless worker, the ground, the clay, its transformation under her hands is a constant appeal. Her hands are witnesses and testimony.
Isabella ranges from Raku to Limoge, passing through clay mixtures of her own design and multiple techniques.
I love sipping my coffee from the cup she made me. That cup is “Marcella”. It was made just for me, no one else has one like it. Isabella made that little cup almost like making a portrait. I feel the cup is a “she”, like me.
I’m not crazy (or rather, I think not ..). In reality I am practical, a “materialistic girl”: I play with material things: food. But, as I can feel – sometimes I feel – the soul of food, I can also feel the soul of Isabella’s pieces.
I do not know the titles that Isabella gave to her pieces, but I want to give my titles and my definitions … .. provided that art, like love, can be defined.
Isabella forgive me: I took the liberty of describing your art without your consent and of giving it meanings that perhaps only I can see.

These white ceramics for me represent the contortions of the spirit, but also the awareness that they will unravel.

This is for food for kings, or for gods: what we are.

I loved these shapes and their color and they still arouse an emotion in me that I cannot extrapolate. For me they represent the Earth and concreteness, work, the elegance of work when you love it.
The forms of 2020 are more focused

In this one I see the work, the ability to focus on it. A resource of our mind in difficult moments of life like these we are experiencing.

This is a reminder that the sea puts into action by showing us its jewels, reminding us that water unites everything and precious treasures are born and exist in water.

This is the form of friendship for me: I am there if you need it and I support you.
Isabella has an easy and engaging smile; she has the lightness without superficiality of wise ones.
The colors he gives to her works are the result of intense study, for the composition and for the “layers” she has to decide before applying the pigments to the material. Colors have meanings.
Here I give up: I can’t syncretize them with an emotion. I just know that I like them and maybe that’s enough sometimes.
