ORDINARY STORIES AT SCHOOL 1 – QUANTUM HERITAGE

KEN & CINDY, May 12th 2023

Ken’s tale:

I have never been a sweet tooth – Ken said – until the moment my father passed away.
He was greedy for sweets, but we, his family, had never known that. My mother was trying to forbid him sweets, for healthy reasons. So, apparently, he did not eat them

The day he died, friends came to see him before the funeral.

Firemen came and stopped in front of his body. I wondered how and why my father knew those men. One of them told me that they were great friends. Every morning my father used to take them fresh donuts and stay with them enjoying the donuts and chatting friendly. Day after day, year aftert year, they became strong friends.

In conclusion, without those firemen I wouldn’t  have ever known that my father was very greedy for sweet.

What happened was that, I, that I had never been a sweet tooth before, immediately became a sweet tooth. Just as my father passed on, as if he had left me this particular legacy.

Still now I crave for sweets and I love tiramisù.
