WHO COOKS HAS MANY FRIENDS

Oh yes, you might think.

Who wouldn’t go to dinner with someone who knows how to cook?

Ivano & Debra

But this is not – or at least not only – what the article refers to, that is, not to the “ability” to cook. I am not referring to starred chefs or people who spend hours making delicacies. I am thinking more of a predisposition of the soul.

Marco & Andrea

Those who cook WANTS to have friends. Those who cook do it mainly to gather friends around a table.

He/she cultivates them, he/she pampers them.

Caterina & Gabriella

He/She who cooks is nice. That’s why he has friends.

His friends are his neighbors; his friends are his schoolmates and playmates; his friends are his cousins and relatives, his friends’ children, his fellow villagers…

…….. he even has friends’ dogs and cats.

Friends who come back to visit you, who bring you delicacies – maybe to cook together – who bring their world into your kitchen, who share their thoughts, who sprinkle sparkling joy into every dish they cook together with you.

Elizabeth and Marc recently sent me photos of what they have been cooking at home.

Marc with his Cod Mediterranean Style

Marc is smiling in the photo; his plate, placed on a nice tablecloth, also appears smiling. I am sure that the people who ate it were smiling the whole time.

This is what we try to spread with the book “Quantum Cuisine”. Honestly, this is what I have always pursued in my lessons at school.

I have always “felt” that mine was a “peace” profession: when we cook together “we make peace”. I have always “felt” it, an intuitive feeling. Now I know. Now I know that it is bio-physics: vibrations create waves and their frequency, amplitude and shape give shape, amplitude and frequency to what surrounds us. When we cook, when we “really cook” – even just making a fried egg, but we do it with care – our positivity expands. If we are nervous even the fried egg curls up and burns.

I may seem bizarre or presumptuous: I have never learned to cook in a quantum way. I have the impression that it has always been this way in my life. I have learned cooking techniques, in schools or by watching others cook. But I have always cooked “quantum”.

I also believe that if you abandon yourself to listening to what food can tell you, I am convinced that you too can cook “quantum” and it will be very natural.
