IT’S TIME TO MAKE ART

When I have time, I spend it like this: I write or hang out with friends who are a little crazy, like me.
There are Fine Arts Artists such as Isabella Fazzo

Restorers like Simonetta Rosatelli:

These books are from 1200 and Simonetta is their restorer: beauty, art, culture, passion and patience. Simonetta does a unique and precious job, she is one of the few who knows how to do it and who is allowed to do it. She happens to go to the caveau (vaults ) of historical museums and libraries and to do her painstaking work with the escort of armed guards. Then she passes on her knowledge to someone who is as passionate as she is.

There is a smell of paper and glue in his atelier: they are almost ancient smells. And who smells them any more?

I go there when I can. Her studio is right next to the GiglioCooking school: I go for the friendship but also for the atmosphere that exists in that place, the atmosphere of something that belongs to me and belongs to us.

And then there are the artists of the green, those who love Nature and try to preserve it as much as possible:

they raise hens that run on the lawn, graze the sheep on the hills of the Val d’Orcia,

they collect nuts, olives, cherries, garlic, aromatic herbs in Val di Chiana, they draw a landscape that has no equal in the world

they make cheeses that enchant the nostrils and taste buds in Maremma and Tuscia,

they make wines… everywhere.

You cannot do without Beauty and Art.
Then … you know how it is: Beauty also becomes Good.
He always says it and I repeat it: I am a lucky girl.
