{"id":2263,"date":"2018-05-27T18:41:00","date_gmt":"2018-05-27T16:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gc.dotflorence.com\/taste-of-summer-2\/"},"modified":"2025-10-03T11:43:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-03T09:43:10","slug":"taste-of-summer-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gigliocooking.com\/it\/taste-of-summer-2\/","title":{"rendered":"TASTE OF SUMMER"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only a few days ago I posted &#8221; Taste of Spring&#8221;,&nbsp;actually hoping in the arrival of the good season, as the weather this year has been really crazy and un-predictable: rain rain rain.<br>Now, suddenly, the Summer with its heat is here.&nbsp;<br>And, what is the Taste of the Summer per excellence?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For sure, for me, born on an island, it is the taste of the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since a little girl, I have been loving to stay bended on my knees, right at the border of the sea, and walk in this position along the smooth granite rock of my island, with a piece of bread in a hand and a knife in the other.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gigliocooking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/marcella-win_20160610_094120-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"3491\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/gigliocooking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/marcella-win_20160610_094120-2.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.gigliocooking.com\/?attachment_id=3491\" class=\"wp-image-3491\"\/><\/figure><\/li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gigliocooking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/dscn1599-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"3490\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/gigliocooking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/dscn1599-2.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.gigliocooking.com\/?attachment_id=3490\" class=\"wp-image-3490\"\/><\/figure><\/li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gigliocooking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/dscn1586-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"3489\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/gigliocooking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/dscn1586-2.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.gigliocooking.com\/?attachment_id=3489\" class=\"wp-image-3489\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>My purpose was &#8211; still is when I go there &#8211; to pick the sea limpets and eat them, still alive and moving in their shell. I know, I seem rude and cruel&#8230;. I am a wild girl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I like limpets, but what really attracts me are the sea urchins.
